We couldn’t be happier with our experience getting Drax, our black Lab, from Crammondkirk. From the very beginning it was obvious how experienced and knowledgeable Louise was with the dogs. Drax is now just under 6 months old and is a confident, healthy and an affectionate little character.

The environment the puppies were raised in was fantastic and it was clear they were given the very best start in life before moving on to their forever homes. The care, attention, and dedication shown throughout the whole process really stood out and gave us complete confidence.

We are absolutely delighted with our Labrador pup, he has a lovely temperament, canny and sweet, with a little bit of feisty! He is picking up training really well and is interested and calm with everything around him.
Louise has provided great information in the run up to getting our puppy, and we left with a comprehensive puppy guide.
Louise gives the puppies the very best start in life, in her home, with lots of interaction and love.

We brought home a black Labrador puppy from Crammondkirk almost two months ago, and the whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish. From our initial conversations to bringing our puppy home, Louise was wonderful - communication was always clear, and she provided so much helpful information about what to expect and how to prepare.

Our puppy has the most wonderful temperament and responds so well to new experiences, which I think is a real testament to the care, socialisation and attention Louise gives her dogs. We’re absolutely delighted with our pup and already can’t wait to add another Crammondkirk Labrador to our family in the future.

We just want to thank Louise and her family for sharing their wonderful golden retrievers with us. Two and a half years ago, we got in touch with Louise about a female golden retriever and were delighted to find out that one was available from their current litter. We went up to visit and were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the whelping boxes, the friendliness of the  pups and their mother as well as the other young Labradors that were there at the time. We went back the following week to pick up our fur baby.
Our little girl, Freyja, has gone on to surpass our expectations. I am the Head of House at a boarding school and Freyja is our Canine Counsellor. She excels in her role and was recently voted as the Boarding Schools Association BRUFTS, Best Therapy Dog 2026. Freyja has also been a poster child for The Samaritans, walked to support Northwest Air Ambulances, and is a valued and much beloved member of the school community.

We cannot recommend Crammondkirk enough for anyone looking for a beautiful Labrador addition to their family. Our puppy (Cece’s girl) has the most wonderful temperament and personality, and has been a joy that quickly captured our heart. We collected our 8 week old black lab pup, last week from Louise! Astro is a gentle, handsome boy and he is settling in well. Louise is a very friendly and trusted breeder, and it is clear that she cares very much for her dogs and ensures their wellbeing. The whole puppy process was exciting and simple, nothing complicated. The mum of the litter was also super calm and friendly. I liked her setup as well, with the puppies being with Louise in her own home. Even after the collection of our puppy, Louise said that we could contact her anytime with any questions at all! We might even consider getting Astro a chocolate lab brother from Louise in the future. We collected our chocolate lab puppy last week and WOW! Lotte has settled in very quickly & is a gorgeous girl. She ‘sits’ on command already & is so easy going. We cannot thank Crammondkirk enough for bringing Arthur into our lives 🐾

From the very beginning, it was clear how ethical, knowledgeable and caring Louise is as a breeder. All the pups are raised with so much love and attention, and it truly shows in his calm, friendly nature. Toilet training was also a breeze with him!

What a few months it has been! His cheeky, mischievous side has definitely come out and he is adored by our friends, family, and everyone in the neighbourhood. We genuinely cannot imagine life without him now. He has slotted into our lives perfectly, whether that is big adventures or cuddling at home.
