Welcome to Crammondkirk Labradors

I was going to say that we are a small kennel but I feel that I can’t call Crammondkirk a “kennel” as all our dogs live in the house with us, so I will call it the Crammondkirk household.

We aim to breed typical, healthy Labradors with particular emphasis on good temperament, breed type and conformation to the breed standard.
Our dogs have their own large room with all their comfort necessities but spend most evenings with us in the livingroom relaxing in front of the fire.

Having fallen in love with Labradors, we have found great pleasure in raising healthy, well bred and sociable puppies. We personally care for our puppies until they are placed with their new owners at 8 weeks of age. All our puppies are born and raised in our house. We feel it is important to have well socialised puppies; to achieve this we strive in socialising our puppies with other dogs, children, household noises and car travel. This is an aspect that we particularly focus on.

All our dogs hold current clear B.V.A eye certificates and are hip and elbow tested. We also make sure any outside stud dog we use has all the above tests carried out and is Optigen tested normal/clear for GPRA.

I am a member of The Labrador Club Of Scotland; I show most weekends and attend gundog training run by the LCoS, and have competed in my first Novice dog/Novice handler working test at the LCoS open show in June 2010. I also competed in the LCoS mock Trial and was placed 3rd out of 20 entries with Lola, a Holden daughter :).

If you would like any more information, or would like to arrange a visit to come out and meet us and our dogs, please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange a suitable time.

We are always happy to try and help with any Labrador related problems by telephone or email.

I hope you enjoy looking at this web site which is updated regularly.
